An overarching and synthesising work package (WP4), led by PI (Principle Investigator) for BIOPOLE Geraint Tarling, which runs alongside the three science WPs.
We are managing BIOPOLE through an Executive Board (EB), to reinforce the integration of effort across the National Capability members, which is chaired by PI Geraint Tarling. The EB members include Research Centre leads, Work Package (WP) leads, the Programme Manager, a project support officer and data managers from the British Oceanographic Data Centre and the Polar Data Centre. The EB meet regularly to ensure the smooth running of the programme and timely delivery of objectives.
Work Package 4 is concentrating in the early stages of the project in setting up project tools – a monitoring tracker, risk registers, document and presentation templates, etc. We have created the BIOPOLE logo and branding, are building this website and social media accounts. We will be working on newsletters and further dissemination as the project progresses.
